Let’s Talk E&O: How do the Title Underwriter Deductible Reduction Endorsements work?
Reduce your out-of-pocket expenses with a deductible reduction endorsement.
Title Industry Assurance Company, RRG (TIAC) has the distinction of being endorsed by all of the major title underwriters: Fidelity, Old Republic, First American, and Stewart. Additionally, TIAC is also endorsed by several regional title underwriters: The Security Title Guarantee Corporation of Baltimore, Agents National, and Conestoga Title Insurance Company. As a TIAC insured, if you do business with one or more of these title underwriters, your policy may provide a cost-saving benefit in the event of a claim.
The Deductible Reduction Endorsements provide that in the event of a claim resulting from a title policy or commitment for one of the endorsing title underwriters, your deductible may be reduced by 50%. This endorsement is not premium bearing, so it does not affect the amount of premium you pay, but does help to reduce your out-of-pocket expense if you have a claim.
